Morris and Watson

Morris and Watson prides itself on friendly customer service and high quality products and services. Established in 1928 and still privately owned and operated, the company is now into its fourth generation.

From humble beginnings some 90 years ago, Morris and Watson now employs over 120 staff across three countries; New Zealand, Australia and Thailand. While continuing to grow in size and capabilities, at its core the company remains a family run business with traditional values.

Understanding that variety of knowledge creates a strong team, Morris and Watson staff come from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures and industries, with decades of combined experience working across all areas of the jewellery and precious metal industries.

Operating for almost a century, Morris and Watson has gained invaluable experience that is used throughout all departments. Allowing for an extensive range of products and services including; bullion, precious metal refining, fabricated metals, CAD, 3D printing, casting, bangles and chain.

Morris and Watson happily works with clients of all levels of experience from hobbyists, independent jewellers and jewellery manufacturing businesses all the way up to major jewellery retailers. It is likely you have already seen Morris and Watson made chain, bracelets and bangles in jewellery retailers across Australia and New Zealand (the NZ and MW hallmarks are a give away).

Sustainability is becoming increasingly important within the Jewellery industry. Understanding this, Morris and Watson is in the process of becoming an accredited member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), an internationally recognised organisation established to advance ethical supply chain standards within the jewellery industry and precious metals supply chain.

Safe working environments, fair work and responsible sourcing have always been significant business foundations for Morris and Watson. The RJC will allow recognition and further development of these business practices through a credible industry body.
